About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security & Assurance, Information Technology, or Audit.
  • Experience in third-party risk management, vendor management, or a related area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using risk management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to third-party risk management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).

Nice To Haves

  • CTPRP, CTPRA, CISA, CRISC, or other relevant information security certifications.
  • Prior experience delivering training and education to a remote workforce.
  • Prior experience in the Education industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of information technology and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party vendors, evaluating their security practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement third-party risk management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track third-party compliance with contractual obligations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks.
  • Maintain and update the third-party risk register, documenting all identified risks.
  • Perform ongoing due diligence and periodic reviews of third-party vendors.
  • Assist in the development and execution of third-party risk management training programs.
  • Prepare and present reports on third-party risk management activities to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to third-party risk management.
