About the position
Reading Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to join a community hospital-based and academic practice of 9 physicians and 7 advanced practitioners at the McGlinn Cancer Institute located in West Reading, Pennsylvania. This Hematology/Oncology position is a great opportunity for an experienced physician with a preference for treating general cancer cases in our outpatient community-based practice. Physicians with interest in Thoracic Oncology will have opportunity to develop a large patient panel. The new physician will be joining a well-trained, very collaborative staff, and a state-of-the-art facility with a full spectrum of interdisciplinary care.
Responsibilities
- Treat general cancer cases in an outpatient community-based practice
- Focus on Thoracic Oncology
- Participate in clinical research
- Engage in educational programs
- Attend daily multi-disciplinary clinics
- Contribute to the fellowship program
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Medical License in the Commonwealth of PA
- Unrestricted DEA License
- Graduate from an ACGME accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
- MD, DO or foreign equivalent
