About the position

The National Sales Manager at Staybook will drive new client acquisition for our group housing application. This role focuses on prospecting, selling, and securing new clients and revenue. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology's impact on customer experience, skilled in building and maintaining client relationships, and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and sales targets. The National Sales Manager will leverage various sales channels, including tradeshows, direct solicitation, and inbound leads, to achieve quarterly and annual goals. This role will collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and Information Technology to ensure our products meet both organizational and client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close group housing clients to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Meet and surpass quarterly and annual sales goals through targeted sales strategies.
  • Maintain a client and prospect list utilizing strategic marketing data and other lead sources.
  • Manage client relationships through a consultative sales approach tailored to meet unique client needs.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group presentations highlighting Staybook and Playbook365's features and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, forecasts, and reports within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Director and Marketing team to strategize marketing activities, develop lead generation programs, and manage events and shows.
  • Stay informed on current and emerging trends in hospitality, group housing, travel technology, and youth sports.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of stability and success
  • Key industry and domain knowledge of youth sports tech, hospitality and group travel ecosystem.
  • Ability to work remotely in a fast-changing industry, while building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Technical background with hands-on experience in digital and hospitality technologies
  • Proof of previous sales performance
  • SaaS sales experience is preferred
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-directed and motivated to exceed goals
  • Experience selling into the group and event industry vertical is a plus
  • Experience with sales and CRM systems required, with in-platform experience in HubSpot preferred.
