About the position

The Title One Teacher at Catapult Learning is responsible for providing educational support in Math and ELA for K-6 students. This full-time position focuses on advocating for students, customizing lesson plans, and fostering an empowering classroom culture. The teacher will utilize data to enhance instruction and ensure a positive learning environment, while also engaging in professional development and continuous improvement of teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Customize targeted lesson plans using provided resources.
• Maximize instructional time by meeting student needs through pacing, wait time, and differentiation.
• Ensure the educational environment clarifies learning goals and facilitates connections among lessons.
• Use data to scaffold and differentiate instruction.
• Engage students by establishing a clear purpose for learning and encouraging critical thinking.
• Ensure students take ownership of their learning and growth.
• Establish clear routines and procedures for student success.
• Master new content in training sessions and demonstrate competency in assessments.
• Receive direction and coaching to continuously improve skills.
• Document and maintain accurate data on student learning and outcomes.

Requirements

• Teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to customize lesson plans and engage students effectively.
• Eagerness for feedback and willingness to implement new methodologies.
