About The Position

The position is centered around supporting the production process at Hallmark's production center, where employees will be cross-trained across multiple departments. The role involves operating and maintaining various types of equipment, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with internal and external partners to troubleshoot and maintain production efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a color perception test.
  • Ability to constantly stand, walk, twist, bend, and reach above shoulder level.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs frequently and 60 lbs occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous machine operating, pre-production, or tooling experience.
  • Previous milling or CNC operating experience, and/or relevant certifications.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, operate and maintain various types of equipment to make proofs and tooling.
  • Observe milling machine operation and adjust controls to ensure conformance with specified tolerances and quality standards.
  • Maintain and correct any variances found using hand tools such as shears, saws, grinders, and micrometers.
  • Operate computer systems and software programs to set up equipment efficiently and maintain production rates.
  • Troubleshoot problems and perform quality checks of incoming files and tooling materials.
  • Assist with all aspects of different assignments across departments.
