About the position

The Tradeshow and Event Marketing Manager at Verkada is responsible for leading the planning and execution of various trade shows and events across North America. This role involves developing a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with the company's demand generation goals, managing all logistical aspects of events, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure successful participation and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a North America tradeshow and event strategy aligned with Verkada's demand generation and geo goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and select relevant industry events based on established criteria.
• Collaborate with field marketing peers, sales, and product teams to define event objectives, messaging, deliverables, and participation.
• Plan pre, during, and post-event communication and engagement with the Americas Acquisition Team.
• Manage all aspects of events including booth design, materials, shipping, vendor relationships, contracts, and staff scheduling.
• Track follow-up and collaborate with sales teams to measure results and evaluate future participation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional marketing experience in executing and scaling complex events and trade shows, ideally in high technology.
• Strong event management, project management, and budget management experience.
• Experience negotiating with and managing external suppliers and coordinating a wide range of services.
• Ability to frequently travel nationally and internationally, including weekends and holidays.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
