About the position

We are looking for a Transmission Line Standards Engineer to develop and maintain design, material, and construction standards and to provide technical support to other ATC functional groups for maintenance and construction of overhead and underground transmission lines. You will lead the development, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies in the area of transmission line engineering and construction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain design, material, and construction standards for transmission lines.
- Provide technical support to other functional groups for maintenance and construction of overhead and underground transmission lines.
- Lead the development, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies in transmission line engineering and construction.
- Support the delivery and maintenance of cost-effective and high-quality transmission line assets.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the construction department regarding engineering work processes and methods.
- Lead assessments of standards associated with design, material and equipment procurement, and construction services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil or electrical preferred).
- Experience in transmission line design.
