Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY - - - - - - - - - - - Provides supervision,training, direction, and performance monitoring to assigned staffof the University Transplant Center (UTC.) Supports dailyoperational productivity by coordinating patient care consults andmanaging role specific functions as assigned by The ExecutiveDirector, Senior Director of Transplant Operations and MedicalDirectors to facilitate high quality, cost-effective care for theTransplant patient population adhering to UH -and regulatoryrequirements. Works with staff at all levels to optimize efficiencyand improve operational workflow as necessary. - Recognizesproblems with existing procedures and employs professionalknowledge to make necessary decisions and formal changes. -Promotes the Health System's mission, purpose, goals, objectivesand commitment to service excellence. - - - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AMaster's degree in Social Work is required. Five years of related,progressively responsible health care experience is required. Twoyears of supervisory experience is required. Experience workingwith Organ Transplant patients is preferred. LICENSURE /CERTIFICATION Current Social Work licensure in the State of Texasis required. Must maintain CPR certification.
