About The Position

Responsibilities

• Bidding, booking, and managing freight by dealing with direct customers and broker boards.
• Coordinating with customer service representatives to obtain work orders.
• Scheduling appointments with customers for load delivery.
• Responding to emails.
• Entering loads into the dispatch system (sylectus/omnitracs).
• Updating customer load boards.
• Dispatching loads with drivers and ensuring their timely delivery.
• Maintaining communication with drivers throughout their shifts and addressing any routing issues they may have.
• Updating customers about the status of their deliveries, including any delays that may occur.
• Answering calls from delivery drivers and forwarding any emergencies to the appropriate channels.
