Travel & Financial Analyst

Full-time - Entry Level

About the position

The Travel & Financial Analyst is responsible for providing analysis, reporting, and budget support for our growing organization. The analyst must have a keen attention to detail, superior analytical capability and problem-solving skills and take an ownership approach to all tasks. The ideal candidate will work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze travel and expense data
• Work closely with accounting to ensure travel and expenses adhere to company policy
• Management of travel and expense system: policy updates, form changes, issuing corporate credit cards and user provisioning
• Identify and implement process improvements, using data analysis and industry knowledge, to streamline travel and expense management
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key insights and metrics and present findings and observations
• Respond to inquiries and provide guidance based on travel and expense policies
• Monitor and analyze spending trends in order to identify areas for cost savings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 2-3 years experience in data analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience with data analysis and modeling
• Must be comfortable working with large data sets
• Experience with change management
• Prior experience working with travel and expense data preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
• Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and finding creative solutions to problems
