Aureus Medical Group - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Kealakekua, Hawaii. This position is designed for registered nurses specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), where they will provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia. Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Hawaii.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience in PACU or recovery room nursing.
- Ability to lift and move patients, with physical demands ranging from 50-100 lbs.
