Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PCU or similar setting.
- Current Kentucky RN License.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
- Ability to float to other PCU or Med Surg units as needed.
