About the position

At UCHealth Mountain Crest FC, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 41 Bed Behavioral Health unit, which serves adults, adolescents, and acute patients. This full-time position offers a 0.9 FTE, requiring 72 hours per pay period over a two-week schedule. The role is primarily day shifts, and the compensation is set at $55.00 per hour, with additional travel packages or stipends available for local RN travelers residing within 75 miles. We offer 13-week assignments with options for extensions, providing flexibility and opportunities for growth in your nursing career. As a Registered Nurse in our Behavioral Health unit, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, focusing on delivering applicable behavioral or mental health nursing care. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to achieve exceptional outcomes for our patients. Your role will involve modeling proficiency by precepting new staff members and welcoming new knowledge in our fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. You will contribute to solutions that ensure safety and quality at the point of care, responding to patient care situations with nursing standards and protocols for treatment. In this position, you will initiate corrective actions whenever a patient presents with adverse symptoms, handling critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Requirements

  • Current Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in nursing.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date.
