About the position
The Refrigerated Midwest Regional Fleet professional CDL truck driver role involves transporting primarily cheese and other frozen or temperature-controlled products within the Midwest region. This position emphasizes consistent home time, allowing drivers to return home weekly, which supports work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Transport refrigerated goods, primarily cheese and other frozen products, to various customers in the Midwest region.
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of temperature-controlled products.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required.
- Experience in driving refrigerated trucks preferred.
- Ability to operate a truck safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
