About the position

The Trust and Safety Operations Lead at Google Play is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of apps on the Google Play Store, particularly for non-mobile platforms. Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of app review workflows.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and automate operational processes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other teams to design, plan, and execute key projects.
• Develop and implement strategies for seamless launch of new app tests, features, and policy updates.
• Manage external vendors to ensure high-quality reviews of new app submissions.
• Analyze operational data to extract insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in operations, Trust and Safety, policy, program management, or related fields.
• 1 year of experience in people management, leading a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or PhD.
• Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety.
• Experience in fraud investigation.
• Experience in Trust and Safety or developer relations.
• Experience in risk analysis or data analysis.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $156,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
