About the position

The Texas ACE 21st CCLC Site Coordinator - Floater is responsible for managing the daily operations of the 21st Century Community Learning Center program. This role involves planning, implementing, hiring, supervising, and evaluating staff and programs to enhance student performance in academics, attendance, behavior, and graduation rates. The coordinator will work closely with community leaders, parents, and educational staff to create a supportive environment for students and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate site programs, activities, and services that prepare youth for success.
  • Communicate progress and future direction of the program with campus administrators.
  • Recruit, manage, and provide career development opportunities for site staff and volunteers.
  • Complete site instructor agreements and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Follow district protocols for managing expenses related to the 21st CCLC program.
  • Develop partnerships with parents and community organizations to support education workshops.
  • Project manage program activities targeting family engagement and college readiness.
  • Develop and maintain public relations to increase program visibility and participation.
  • Coordinate and implement academic, social, and emotional curriculum.
  • Manage and distribute qualitative and quantitative data for program evaluation.
  • Coordinate family workshop activities monthly at every site.
  • Present campus program impact reports during regional board meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Preferred two years management experience with a federally funded out-of-school program.
  • Experience with coordinating enrichment and tutorial programs.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated organizational, staff, and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management.
  • Ability to provide leadership and support educational access and equity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (preferred)
  • Texas Teaching Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with community agencies and resources.
