The Systems Design and Architecture organization is searching for a candidate with a passion for Autonomous Systems to design, develop, and field, open, trusted, secure, certified, and operationally effective collaborative autonomous solutions. This position is onsite in Tucson, AZ. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple Fixed Wing UAS developments and be comfortable working in a fast development environment where CONOPS and requirements are loosely defined and actively refined. The Principal Systems Engineer will collaborate across Engineering Disciplines to rapidly develop and demonstrate UAS system functionality. They will work to define key system concepts, capabilities, and limitations, CONOPS and architecture, requirements capture and management through the development, prototyping, testing, verification, and flight demonstration phases of UAS related systems which include autonomous systems and behaviors, advanced communications, vehicle navigation and control, and other advanced system technologies. This position may require up to 25% travel.
