About the position

The UI Angular Developer position is focused on delivering complex software solutions within an Agile environment. The role involves significant coding responsibilities, collaboration with Agile teams, and ensuring adherence to industry standards while providing high-quality software solutions. The developer will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including testing, implementation, and support of Truist's most complex solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated support of Truist's most complex solutions.
• Perform development tasks including customized coding, software integration, and analysis.
• Ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations.
• Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices.
• Act as an Agile champion, delivering high-quality working software and automating tasks.
• Participate in refining user stories and develop unit testing.
• Provide warranty support and knowledge transfer to production support.
• Develop code in accordance with acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 to 7 years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training.
• In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to implement IT best practices.
• Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to IT.
• Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems.
• Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience developing responsive web-based applications using Angular.
• Experience in developing UI and Prototype using HTML5, CSS, Angular 12+, Javascript, Jquery, Bootstrap, NodeJS.
• Experience in integrating REST and SOAP based services.
• Experience with Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices.
• Experience with Test Frameworks like Jasmine, Selenium, Cucumber.
• Experience in building Cloud native applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, TerraForm.
• Experience in debugging distributed systems with high data loads.
• Working experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies, specifically in SAFe.
