About the position

Join ISS Market Intelligence as a UI/UX Designer and help lead our transformation to deliver modern, persona-based experiences to our clients. In this pivotal role, you'll work within our product organization and collaborate closely with teams across product, data, technology, and customer experience to craft solutions that delight users and move the business forward.

Responsibilities

  • Use your expertise in user journey mapping and experience design to visualize interactions, uncover pain points, identify opportunities, and develop thoughtful solutions that elevate the user experience.
  • Create personas, wireframes, and prototypes to bring ideas to life-iterating based on research, stakeholder input, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product managers, engineers, and business partners-to understand user needs, define goals, and translate them into clear design strategies.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, pattern libraries, and guidelines that ensure consistency and reflect the ISS STOXX brand and design principles.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to validate ideas and continuously refine our platforms.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies-bringing fresh thinking and innovative solutions to the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX/Service Designer in the financial services or fintech space, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful enterprise-level projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a structured approach to translating user needs into elegant, impactful designs.
  • Proficiency in user journey mapping, service design thinking, and leading ideation or design workshops.
  • In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience using research and data to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Visual design skills with a strong understanding of UX fundamentals.
  • Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly explain concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a drive to continuously learn and grow.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence across teams.
