We have a current opening for a Licensed Electrical Underground Foreman for our project at Austin Bergstrom International Airport. The Underground Foreman will work in coordination with the Superintendent/GC/Sub(s)/Customer(s) in management of the project, project schedule and employees on the project. The Foreman will act in a leadership capacity in maintaining productivity, safety, QC, scheduling, and a multitude of other factors that lend to successful project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes safe and functional work environment through maintaining a clean and organized job site, identifying safety hazards on the job site, and using proper PPE needed per project
  • Monitors and assists field crew to ensure quality install and production
  • Mentors and develops team by providing feedback and identifying training opportunities
  • Assists in pre-planning process and identifies pre-fab opportunities with project team
  • Completes daily production reporting, JHAs, Timecards, etc. for compliance and accuracy on a consistent basis
  • Maintains 4 week look ahead for project activities, crew, and equipment and submits on a weekly basis
  • Collaborates with project team to set productivity goals, establish tracking methods, and monitor project progress

Requirements

  • Licensed Electrician in the state of Texas or reciprocal state
  • 5+ years’ experience working on underground utility, heavy highway or airfield lighting construction projects
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Working knowledge of electrical and underground safety requirements
  • Must be eligible to be badged at airport
  • Must be eligible to operate company vehicles

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working on Airfield Lighting projects, preferred.
