About The Position

The Underwriter Analyst will work in a team setting underwriting and servicing renewal accounts for the development and retention of our Professional Lines business. This role involves production and underwriting of new and renewal account business, ensuring compliance with underwriting documentation rules and guidelines, and maintaining an acceptable underwriting profit. The Underwriter Analyst will also adhere to Admiral underwriting guidelines and referral compliance, develop and maintain key broker/agent relationships, participate in all internal company training and continuing education, remain current on product releases as it pertains to Professional, and attend strategic marketing calls to key brokers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Completed coursework toward a Risk Management, and Insurance Degree a plus.
• Prior work experience in Financial Services, Risk Management or Insurance industry(s) preferable.
• Applicable coursework toward attainment of a RPLU designation desired.
• Strong organization skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical proficiency is required.
