About the position
The Underwriting Operations Technician plays a crucial role in supporting underwriters by assisting with renewal solicitation and quotes. This position ensures that documentation delivered to agents is accurate and of high quality, reviews policy change requests, and manages the evaluation process for acceptance, declination, and modification of policies. The technician is responsible for entering all relevant information into the system to maintain data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assist underwriters with renewal solicitation and renewal quotes.
- Ensure documentation delivered to agents is correct and of high quality.
- Review requests for changes in policies.
- Drive the process to evaluate acceptance, declination, and modification of policies.
- Enter all information/data into the system ensuring data integrity.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in data entry and management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
