The role may also involve performing specific tasks and orienting other staff members to the department, contributing to a well-functioning team. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A minimum of one year of recent relevant experience is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and various medical procedures. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, patients, and other personnel. The ability to manage time effectively, prioritize assignments, and work within standardized policies is crucial for achieving departmental objectives and meeting deadlines. Additionally, proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR), is expected. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and various medical procedures.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
