Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of clerical duties to enhance the daily operation of the assigned nursing unit.
  • Demonstrate awareness of nursing unit, patient, and personal safety.
  • Ensure availability of supplies and assist with patient transportation.
  • Assist members of the patient care team with special requests as a team player.
  • Follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
