About the position

The Leasing Agent position at HH Staffing involves managing the leasing process for apartments and ensuring high occupancy rates. The role requires excellent communication and sales skills, as well as a strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for processing applications, drawing up leases, managing service requests, and maintaining positive relationships with residents.

Responsibilities

• Process applicants and lease available apartments to ensure the highest occupancy at all times.
• Draw up legal documentation for new leases.
• Enter and manage service requests into computer software.
• Renew existing leases and stay aware of all current and new Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Ensure property tour route conditions are impeccable for showings of vacant apartments.
• Ensure marketing materials are competitive and up to date.
• Use management software to enter information and pull various reports.
• Conduct competition studies and assist with business outreach marketing, resident functions, and other promotional programs.
• Promote positive relationships with residents through an ongoing resident retention program.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in the apartment, condo, or commercial industry or possess strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills including strong sales abilities with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well independently as well as within a team setting.
• Must be able to pass a national criminal background check.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
