About The Position

As a Facilities Support Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of the facility. This role requires a motivated team player with excellent communication skills, capable of multitasking and paying attention to detail while working with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school degree or GED is preferred.
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the operations team and housekeeping to maintain the facility's sanitation and cleanliness.
• Sweep and clean all stairs, walkways, signage, and common areas.
• Utilize a floor sweeper and scrubber as needed.
• Wipe down all handrails, cabinets, and ledges.
• Maintain trash cans, paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, and hand sanitizers.
• Ensure that all employee areas, including timeclocks and lockers, are regularly cleaned and well-maintained.
• Partner with housekeeping contractor regarding canteen, office, and restroom cleanliness.
• Assist the Maintenance Department with scheduled shutdowns.
• Be willing to accept new and diverse assignments that are requested by the Supervisor.
