About The Position

The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking full-time faculty members at any rank to join as academic Urogynecologists. The role involves providing exceptional clinical and surgical care for women with pelvic floor disorders, participating in the education of fellows, residents, and medical students, and engaging in scholarly research activities to advance the field of Urogynecology.

Requirements

• Medical doctorate or equivalent.
• Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Eligible or board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
• Completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Urology.
• Completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding clinical and surgical care to women with pelvic floor disorders.

• Provide consultation and surgical services at UChicago's main campus and River East location.
• Teach and supervise trainees and students.
