About the position

BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world, dedicated to advancing health through innovative solutions. The Global Product Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the strategic direction for the Capital portfolio, which includes products like Sensica(TM) and BBS Revolution(TM). This position requires a strong leader who can develop and execute commercial strategies, collaborate with regional marketers, and lead initiatives for long-term growth. The role offers flexibility to work on-site in Covington, GA for four days a week and remotely on Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Own the general management for the Capital portfolio globally, including commercial strategy, financial performance, demand and supply planning, budget management, and product line issue resolution.
  • Own the strategy and execution of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) integration for the portfolio.
  • Prioritize technical and commercial product requirements based on business and customer impact.
  • Develop and execute bold commercial strategies to achieve business unit objectives worldwide, including market analysis, product innovations, and marketing collateral creation.
  • Drive commercial growth by developing differentiated value propositions that address customer unmet needs through evidence generation.
  • Collaborate effectively with regional marketing partners and other functions such as R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations.
  • Develop and deliver strategic global marketing plans, guiding regional marketing teams in their development.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance user experience through usability testing and user feedback.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform product decisions and track performance metrics.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with a focus in marketing or business; MBA preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant marketing and/or commercial experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or healthcare.
  • Experience in highly matrixed environments and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience integrating products with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
