About the position

The position involves overseeing the implementation of the business plan for a facility, ensuring operational goals related to production, quality, and safety are met. Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with individuals or groups verbally and in writing.
  • Drive, develop, and oversee the implementation of the business plan for the facility.
  • Review and approve forecasted staffing plans to meet business demands.
  • Manage financial aspects of the facility, including tracking expenses and monitoring asset utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards.
  • Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns through thorough investigation.
  • Participate in local and community organizations as a community liaison.
  • Lead and direct the facility's leadership by setting direction and monitoring performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration) and 3 years of experience in a senior management role in operations/distribution/logistics/retail.
  • 2 years of experience as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager.
  • 5 years of experience in a senior management role in operations/distribution/logistics/retail.
