About the position

The Manager for Operations Improvement at Walmart is responsible for overseeing multiple projects related to facilities maintenance operations. This role involves defining project scopes, leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering presentations to stakeholders. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong focus on operational improvement within a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple projects by defining the scope of work and project objectives.
  • Lead a team and manage operations across various stores.
  • Assemble management plans and track changes to ensure resolution of critical issues.
  • Manage the governance of project plans and monitor budgets and costs.
  • Deliver presentations, status reports, and other project documentation to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
