In terms of data and digital literacy, the candidate will be responsible for identifying problems, leveraging data to determine root causes, and applying information to find solutions. This includes participating in the feedback loop between data intake and insights, ensuring data quality, and organizing processed information for analysis. The role also involves leveraging visualization techniques to create dashboards for stakeholders and leadership, as well as proposing ways to automate and improve existing processes using technology such as RPA, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The business acumen aspect of the role requires the individual to provide recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex issues, develop business cases for projects, and translate business requirements into actionable tasks that align with the overall business strategy. The candidate will also support regulatory visits, prepare audit reports, and assist in integrating environmental considerations into process design, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation. Operational excellence is another key area, where the candidate will explain operational functions, clarify departmental roles, and identify primary operational functions of the organization. The role also includes asset protection responsibilities, such as conducting investigations, recognizing security breaches, and maintaining asset prevention records. The candidate will engage with stakeholders, analyze their needs, and communicate effectively to build credibility and trust. The position also emphasizes employee health and safety, requiring the candidate to coordinate with emergency responders, evaluate facility environments against OSHA guidelines, and educate employees on potential hazards. Process improvement is crucial, as the candidate will define critical workflows, identify process problems, and implement methods for improvement. Additionally, the role involves delivering training content, managing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Identifies problems and leverages data to determine root causes and apply information to find solutions.
  • Participates in the feedback loop between data intake and insights to improve the data-collection process.
  • Articulates the levers that influence data and ensures data quality.
  • Organizes processed information for analysis and leverages visualization techniques to create dashboards for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identifies and proposes ways to automate/improve existing processes using technology such as RPA, AI, and machine learning.
  • Documents business requirements for new technology solutions and develops, tests, and integrates prototypes to support technology-enabled solutions.
  • Develops and implements technology changes across multiple processes within the assigned area of work.
  • Provides recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues and develops business cases for projects with projected returns on investment or cost savings.
  • Supports regulatory visits and prepares audit reports for management review.
  • Assists in integrating environmental considerations into process design and interprets compliance status reports.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 2 years' experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing environment.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Safety Management, Audit, or related field, AND 1 year of experience in Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, and Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Option 2: 3 years' experience in Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, Safety, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 or more certifications such as Loss Prevention Certification (LPC), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, or related certifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
