About the position

The position involves leading and developing store teams by providing training, feedback, and support to associates. The role focuses on enhancing customer service standards, driving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The leader will also be responsible for fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, managing operational processes, and implementing business solutions to achieve sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations and company direction.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Monitor merchandise presentation and inventory flow to meet sales goals.
  • Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to support business needs.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college education; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
