About the position

Responsibilities

  • Supports the reporting and forecasting of Walmart international by preparing financial analysis and recommending future expense targets.
  • Manages complex control structures to mitigate risk of financial misstatement.
  • Communicates with functional areas to understand significant variations and prepares results for presentation.
  • Provides input for business decisions by producing complex financial models and preparing presentations.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
  • 1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
  • 1 year's supervisory experience.
