About the position
The position involves supporting the reporting and forecasting of Walmart international by preparing financial analysis, recommending future expense targets, and planning and analyzing business performance in partnership with cross-functional areas. The role also includes managing complex control structures to mitigate the risk of financial misstatement, guiding cross-functional teams to develop new processes, and ensuring proper controls are present in financial functions. Communication with functional areas to understand significant variations and providing follow-up on financial issues is essential. Additionally, the position requires producing complex financial models for business decisions, participating in business case presentations, and driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects. The role also emphasizes providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, promoting company policies, and ensuring business needs are met through ongoing evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Supports the reporting and forecasting of Walmart international by preparing financial analysis and recommending future expense targets.
- Manages complex control structures to mitigate risk of financial misstatement.

- Provides input for business decisions by producing complex financial models and preparing presentations.
- Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.
- Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans and programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
- 1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
- 1 year's supervisory experience.
