About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team at Sam's Club. This role involves participating in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects, translating project requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring on-time delivery of web applications. The Software Engineer will collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create user-friendly interfaces and optimize applications for performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain highly scalable and efficient web applications.
• Collaborate with designers to implement user-friendly, intuitive, and responsive interfaces.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
• Create quality mockups and prototypes.
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong experience with ReactJS/Redux.
• Proficient in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, JSON.
• Proficient in NodeJS, GraphQL.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Understanding of layout aesthetics.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of SEO principles.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
• Extensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns, and micro-service architecture.
