About the position
The Utility position on the 2nd shift is responsible for supporting assembly line operations by filling in for team members as needed, following standard operating procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment. This role requires flexibility and the ability to perform various tasks efficiently to meet production demands.
Responsibilities
- Replace Team Members in their absence or fill in for as needed on a day-to-day basis
- Follow standard operation procedures on various assembly lines in the respective job area
- Inspect work and equipment as called out on Work Instruction Manual
- Report any equipment abnormalities/problems to Line/Group Leader
- Maintain a clean working area
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Be multi-functional skilled to where any job assignment can be performed in your respective work area
- Ability to run all operations efficiently and perform all checks as required in the Work Instruction Manual
- Flexibility to work overtime or off shifts to meet schedule requirements
- Good understanding of the Toyota Production System
- Active in Kaizen activities
