We’re looking for a User Experience Designer to join our team. The vision of this role is to enable millions of people around the world to be recognized for the good work they are doing for their company. Our team focuses on making employee recognition and points redemption a more mainstream, easier, and delightful experience for companies who care about their employees' accomplishments. As a UX Designer at Awardco, you will play a critical role in our design process, from initial research and ideation through to prototyping, testing, and final implementation. You will be responsible for understanding user needs, creating intuitive and impactful designs, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless user experiences on the Awardco Platform. Your expertise will drive the creation of user-centered solutions, backed by data and best practices, to deliver high-quality, valuable experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and lead in partnership with a Product Manager and Tech Lead to execute product initiatives on a cross-functional team
  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes
  • Conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on feedback
  • Launch new products and services that align with business goals
  • Design elegant flows & interactions for a global audience across platforms
  • Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-disciplinary partners

Requirements

  • 2 to 3+ years of experience with end-to-end product design and delivery
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong ability to articulate and defend design decisions
  • Mentorship to junior designers
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience shipping product (preferably SaaS)
  • Cross-platform design experience (Web, Android, iOS)
  • Proficiency in designing and prototyping complex solutions in Figma
  • Data-driven research, user and usability testing skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Front-end engineering experience is a plus
