As a UX Product Designer for the Intranet and Editorial team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience across various digital touchpoints. This position is 100% remote and is structured as a contract lasting 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Your primary responsibility will be to unpack ambiguous problems and absorb insights about the business and its users. You will design, test, and help deliver usable and engaging content and information across a range of platforms, including microsites, landing pages, emails, and tools. In this role, you will design experiences and influence strategies for a variety of audiences and stakeholders. Your curiosity will drive you to ask the right questions to uncover key information that will inform your design choices. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with product management, research, visual design, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure that your designs meet the needs of the users and the business. You will be expected to clearly articulate your design choices and rationale, tailoring your communications to suit different audiences. You will need to zoom into the pixels and aesthetics of your designs while keeping the broader strategy in mind. Effectively working with design systems will be essential, as you will need to know when to leverage existing patterns and when to advocate for new concepts. Elevating the quality of the team is also part of your role, as you will give and solicit constructive feedback and share knowledge with your peers. Additionally, you will scope and prioritize work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
