The UX/UI Designer II (Contractor) position is a critical role within our team, focusing on designing, developing, and producing holistic digital experiences. This role requires a strong advocate for the user, working closely with product managers to strategically solve complex problems. The designer will be responsible for creating flows, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts that define and communicate end-to-end user experiences. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision while also demonstrating the ability to lead projects and initiatives autonomously. The designer will drive a user-centric, iterative, and collaborative design process that revolves around rapid prototyping, user research, and continuous improvement and deployment. They will contribute to coherent visual and interaction designs across various flows and channels. Additionally, the designer will work with UX research to plan user testing sessions and translate research findings into future design deliverables. Conducting stakeholder interviews, analyzing customer feedback, and researching user behavior will be essential to enhance existing products. Collaboration with the product team is crucial to evaluate and prioritize features that balance business and end-user needs. The designer will also participate in and/or organize design workshops to drive discovery and better understand user needs. Presenting UX/UI designs confidently to stakeholders, users, and development teams in both formal and informal settings is a key aspect of this role.
