As a UX/UI Specialist at Arrivia, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in enhancing member travel shopping experiences across various platforms, including Cruise, Hotels, Car, and Air. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the Product and Marketing Technology teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. This involves working closely with peers to solve design challenges, contributing to the evolution of our design system, and creating wireframes that guide development across multiple ecosystems, catering to retail, members, clients, and internal users. In this role, you will focus on improving usability, accessibility, and aesthetics of our products to drive engagement, conversions, and revenue. You will ensure that all design assets align with core UX principles and established design patterns through collaboration, co-design, design reviews, and research activities. Strong time management skills are essential, as you will need to prioritize tasks effectively and serve as a knowledgeable resource on UX within the team. You will interpret business metrics and company goals into actionable design objectives and expectations. Your responsibilities will include managing 1 to 2 milestones and projects efficiently, utilizing your written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with Domain Leaders, Developers, and Product teams. You will deliver wireframes ranging from low fidelity sketches to high fidelity polished assets, design patterns for key interaction points, and document assets for a Design System. Additionally, you will guide web responsiveness rules from Desktop to Mobile experiences, ensuring accessibility is a priority. You will apply branding themes strategically to enhance user journeys and client expectations, while also understanding complex design requirements from product leaders and translating them into visual designs. Adaptability is key, as the travel industry is fast-paced, and you will need to iterate on designs and projects accordingly. Effective communication of designs to other departments will also be a critical aspect of your role.
