The Vehicle Operations Specialist will serve as a key player for physical locations, responsible for setting schedules, prioritizing vehicle workflows, requesting resources, and coordinating work efforts with on-site managers. This role involves managing charging station capacity and maintenance to ensure there is a plan of action based on scheduled customer demand and prioritization. The specialist will also manage the lot to ensure safe and usable drivelines at all times, complete final quality checks, create effective service orders, and provide feedback to service and other teams as needed. Additionally, the role includes preparing paperwork for open states deliveries, validating paperwork, scanning, and filing completed dealer jackets in a secure file cabinet, and conducting various audits including security, inventory, and asset location. Communication of roadblocks and proposed resolutions to management is essential, as well as ensuring adequate stock of supplies and inventory resources. The specialist will receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory, prepare, inspect, and stage vehicles for remarketing, and work cross-functionally with proper communication and collaboration with other teams. Completing assignments with a high level of accuracy and embracing ambiguous situations is crucial, along with being resourceful and seeking customer-centric solutions to problems. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed from the business, and the ability to transport vehicles while working in various weather elements is required. Participation in continuous improvement activities with guidance from leads/managers is also expected.
