About the position

The Retail Sales Representative at Verizon Wireless is responsible for selling a wide range of phones, accessories, and services while providing exceptional customer service. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, and maximizing store profitability through effective sales techniques and upselling opportunities. The position offers high commission earning potential based on sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with customers to determine their wireless service needs and recommending appropriate Verizon Wireless products and services.
• Meeting performance and sales goals/metrics on a consistent basis.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services to new and existing customers to maximize transactions.
• Handling all customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Handling register receipts, including daily cashing-in/cashing-out.
• Arranging and displaying store merchandise and maintaining a presentable-looking store.

Requirements

• Must have retail sales experience.
• Must be able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to follow work schedules, be punctual, and have reliable transportation.
