Veterinary Receptionist

About the position

Steinway Court Vet is looking for an experienced part-time/full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join their team. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service in a welcoming environment for clients and their pets. The receptionist will be responsible for managing client interactions, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Communicating via phone, email, and in person with clients.
• Utilizing practice management system (Impromed) to accurately enter client/patient information and maintain medical records.
• Processing client payments and invoices via cash or credit card.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments with clients.
• Dispensing pharmaceuticals as needed and calling in prescriptions to pharmacies.
• Maintaining a clean work area and waiting room.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary hospital experience.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Computer skills and ability to operate practice management systems.

Nice-to-haves
