About the position

The Vice President, Global Strategic Accounts - Hyperscaler at Qualcomm is responsible for developing and executing strategic business development and sales plans to monetize Qualcomm's extensive portfolio with key global hyperscaler accounts such as Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and Amazon. This role involves fostering executive relationships, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving new business opportunities, particularly in areas like 5G and AI. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of Qualcomm's technology and products to align with long-term business goals and enhance revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the overall strategic business development and sales plan for key Global Hyperscaler Accounts.
  • Evangelize Qualcomm's solutions through viable business strategies and commercialization plans.
  • Lead business development strategies and establish key strategic partnerships to enhance revenues.
  • Foster strategic initiatives and expand new business opportunities across Global Strategic Accounts.
  • Build and maintain key executive relationships with global strategic customers.
  • Work closely with internal executives and cross-functional teams to facilitate long-term plans.
  • Execute and grow new revenue-generating business opportunities.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and provide monthly forecasts.
  • Manage the customer design business cycle from cradle to grave.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Fifteen (15) years of experience in business development and/or strategic sales of technology products to large scale companies.
  • Experience in Datacenter and wireless infrastructure, Consumer electronics, Automotive, IoT, and Apps ecosystem.
  • Preferred: MBA or master's degree in engineering.
  • Twenty (20) years of experience in business development and/or strategic sales of technology products to large scale companies.
  • Experience with key Global Strategic accounts - Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and/or Amazon.
  • Technical expertise in Datacenter and wireless infrastructure, Consumer electronics, Automotive, IoT, and Apps ecosystem.
