About the position

The Vice President of Human Resources at Apogee Enterprises will lead the HR strategy for the Services segment, aligning it with corporate objectives. This role focuses on talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and fostering an inclusive culture. The VP will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent while promoting a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape company culture and talent strategy.
  • Serve as primary contact with national unions for staffing needs.
  • Lead marketing and communications for the Services Segment.
  • Execute strategic workforce plans and talent management processes.
  • Attract and retain top talent across the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to optimize recruitment processes.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives and change management efforts.
  • Champion employee training and development programs.
  • Oversee performance management processes to drive engagement and accountability.
  • Partner with Total Rewards COE on compensation and benefits strategy.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Resolve employee relations issues fairly and consistently.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage HR budget and resource allocation effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • Master's degree in human resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR management and talent acquisition.
  • Strong expertise in performance management and workforce planning.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
