About the position

The Vice President, Middle Office Manager II at BNY Mellon is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing multiple teams within the Middle Office. The role is hybrid, based in Pittsburgh, and emphasizes client engagement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight for multiple teams of Middle Office staff responsible for researching and analyzing transactions on behalf of assigned clients.
  • Responsible for oversight of processing, trend analysis, client engagement, TPG review (SLA), process improvement, and incident management.
  • Manages day-to-day work of multiple Middle Office teams responsible for researching and analyzing transactions for complex clients.
  • Manages the performance of assigned staff and sets team priorities.
  • Makes decisions on how to implement new clients in more complex situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5+ years of total experience in financial services is preferred.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
