About the position

The individual will be responsible in developing fit-for-purpose future strategy and roadmap for the Workforce Management team and a centralised capability by working closely with Operations, Technology and Functions (Support) teams of the organisation. This role involves leading a global team to drive strategy and execution of productivity upliftment programs across various businesses and geographies, building benefit tracking mechanisms, and working closely with leadership teams to implement capabilities of the centralised teams. The candidate will need to build effective networks within strategic program leadership, business leads, and external stakeholders to drive maximum value from engagements. They will also need to bring inside-out and outside-in perspectives to propose coherent plans of action, influence business decision-making, and adapt to changing conditions impacting goals. The role requires conducting strategy workshops with senior leadership and possessing outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, stakeholder orientation, mental agility, and an outcome-driven approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team to drive strategy and execution of productivity upliftment programs across various businesses and geographies.
  • Build benefit tracking mechanism to effectively track impact of the proposed measures.
  • Work closely with Leadership teams to drive shared business goals and implement the capabilities of the centralised teams.
  • Build effective network within strategic program leadership, business leads and external stakeholders to drive maximum value from engagements.
  • Bring inside-out and outside-in perspective and propose development of coherent plans of action jointly with stakeholders.
  • Influence business in effective decision making, adapt to changing conditions that impact goals by enabling businesses to solve problems, improve business performance, create value, and maximize ROI/RoTE.
  • Conduct strategy workshops with senior leadership.
  • Challenge business assumptions and goals constructively; ask questions that lead to deeper understanding of the problem statement.
  • Provide strategic thinking and thought leadership to logically structure and process data into meaningful and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in strategy consulting / GBS advisory / workforce management / transformation.
  • Experience of running and managing large scale transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in managing large scale transformation engagements at a global scale.
  • Experience/Comfortable with managing a large global team with the capability to drive, motivate and lead senior managers towards a common outcome.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Stakeholder management skills and project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive results.
  • Experience of working in a cross functional remote global team.
