About the position

As the Vice President of Sales for our Restaurant Division, you will be a key leader in our organization. The VP of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales leadership, delivering on sales quotas, motivating sales teams, creating a strategic vision, and operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You need to understand SMB sales and Restaurants. This role will have a combination of base, commission and equity.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales targets for the restaurant business unit.
  • Build a sales strategy that maximizes revenue growth potential in partnership with the product organization and restaurant leadership team.
  • Directly manage high-profile customer accounts and strategic partnerships.
  • Clearly define and articulate sales strategies, compensation plans and quota targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, sales execution and delivery.
  • Work with sales operations and product marketing to develop a comprehensive sales training program for new and existing employees.
  • Execute sales plans that drive revenue growth, expand the customer base, and contribute to the company's overall growth targets.
  • Establish effective communication channels with internal teams, customers and partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience in the restaurant technology industry, preferably with exposure to POS systems along with payments.
  • 7+ years of sales management experience, with the ability to recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, plans, and forecasts to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Strong knowledge of the restaurant industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ability to articulate Mad Mobile's value proposition and competitive differentiation.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills specific to sales and revenue growth.
  • A track record of driving sales operations and exceeding revenue targets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience growing and leading high-volume sales teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and other technologies that support the sales function.
