About the position
The Video Content Creator at AMS Performance is a vital role within the marketing department, responsible for producing engaging video content that showcases the company's automotive aftermarket performance parts. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical skill, and a passion for motorsports, as the creator will work collaboratively to develop content that informs and entertains the audience while promoting the brand's products and services.
Responsibilities
- Ideate and create video content from concept to publication for YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Analyze market trends, demographics, competitor products, and other relevant information to inform marketing content strategies.
- Learn the technical details of the AMS product lines and services in order to better showcase them in video content.
- Occasional event documentation - off-site motorsports/automotive event videography.
- Draft social media posts in social media management software for review and subsequent public posting.
- Media file organization and archiving for future retrieval.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience filming and editing video at a professional level.
- Ability to film and edit both traditional 16:9 video and modern vertical video content, based on project needs.
- Basic understanding of motorsports, performance modifications, performance industry, etc. is required.
- Additional general marketing experience (social media management, copywriting, ecommerce, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Google software, and Adobe Creative Cloud software a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
