About the position

IFA Productions is seeking a part-time Video Editor who is creative and detail-oriented to produce engaging short-form content for our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in video editing, focusing on creating impactful and visually appealing videos. This role involves close collaboration with our digital marketing and content teams to craft videos that enhance the online presence of our brands. The position can be based out of our Baltic, South Dakota office or can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for editing short-form video content ranging from 15 to 60 seconds for various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You will enhance videos with graphics, animations, and sound effects to create dynamic and professional content. Additionally, you will transform raw footage and concepts into polished videos that align with our brand identity. Working closely with the digital marketing team and content creators, you will ensure that video content meets project requirements and deadlines. A critical part of your responsibilities will also include reviewing and proofreading videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content (15-60 seconds) for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Enhance videos with graphics, animations, and sound effects to create dynamic and professional content.
• Transform raw footage and concepts into polished videos that align with our brand.
• Work closely with the digital marketing team and content creators to ensure video content meets project requirements and deadlines.
• Review and proof videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing short-form content.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the agriculture industry or willingness to quickly learn about it.
• Understanding of social media trends and best practices for short-form videos.
