Video Producer, Lifeway Media | Hybrid

About the position

The Video Producer at Lifeway Media plays a crucial role in the success of media publishing by overseeing all stages of video production, from pre-production to post-production and delivery. This position serves as the primary contact for in-house publishing partners, collaborating closely with Creative Producer/Directors to manage scheduling, legal matters, logistics, approvals, and final delivery of projects. The role is hybrid, allowing for both remote and in-office work, and is integral to Lifeway's mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for publishing partners, facilitating project success.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute publishing projects.
• Provide leadership for teams and projects.
• Manage project development, production dates, and budgets.
• Support production, partners, and authors on-site during production.
• Coordinate crew contracting, location agreements, permits, and insurance certificates.
• Oversee travel reservations (hotel, air, and ground).
• Supervise talent auditions, contracting, and related logistics.
• Track post-production processes, approvals, and delivery of the final product.
• Ensure all projects are educationally and biblically sound.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communication, broadcasting/film/fine arts, or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• 3+ years media project budget management.
• 5+ years management of multiple priorities and assignments.
• 5+ years video or creative production experience.
• Fundamental understanding of video production.
• Demonstrated customer relations skills, both internal and external clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to deadlines and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Problem-solving skills, especially when working with creatives.
• Actively participating in an evangelical Christian church.

Nice-to-haves
